Quick Ghee Rice


Ghee Rice 
is a quick lunch box recipe rice flavoured with ghee and some whole spices, can ba paired with veg korma or any kind of gravy

Ingredients
Rice 1 cup
Ghee 4tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Bay leaf
Star Anise 2
Cinnamon 1 inch 
Clove 4
Pepper 10
Cardamom 
Salt 
Milk 1 cup
Onion sliced 2
Sweet corn 1 cup (Optional) 

Method
  1. In a cooker add ghee
  2. Once it's hot add whole spice and bay Leaf
  3. Now add free chilli and saute 
  4. Add onions fry until translucent 
  5. Now add sweet corn and salt fry well
  6. Now add washed and rice mix
  7. Add 1cup water and 1 cup milk
  8. Mix well, close the lid 
  9. Pressure Cook it for one whistle
  10. Meanwhile heat a tsp of ghee in small ladle add cashews and fry until golden brown
  11. Once pressure comes down add cashews to gheerice, mix well
  12. Serve ghee rice hot with any korma or gravy
