Mavin Hannu Gojju or Mavin Hannu Sasive



Mavin Hannu Saisve is one of the famous South Indian costal recipe, made with one if small variety of locally available mangoes called Kattu Mangoes, tastes sweet and tangy

Ingredients
  1. Mangoes 4-5
  2. Coconut 1 cup
  3. Mustard 1 tsp
  4. Jaggery 1 tsp
  5. Salt
  6. Coconut oil
  7. Salt
  8. Curry leaves 
  9. Hing
  10. Red chili 4-5
  11. Green chili 2
Method

  1. Peel off the mango skin using your hands
  2. Keep peeled mangoes in one bowl and skin in another bowl
  3. Add some water to mango peel sqeeze the juice from it
  4. Now sqeeze peeled mangoes and leave the seed there only 
  5. Add the juice of mango peel to mango pulp
  6. Now take a mixer add coconut, mustard, red chili, tamarind, salt and little mango juice and make fine paste 
  7. Add this masala to mango pulp and mix them well
  8.  Now take small ladle, add coconut oil, once hot add mustard, curry leaves, hing and 2 chili 
  9. Add this temper to gojju and mix
  10. Relish sweet and tangy mango gojju with hot rice
