Tomato Dose (Tomato Dosa)



Tomato Dosa is a South Indian Dosa recipe. Here dosa batter mixed with tomato puree which gives tangy taste in dosa 

Ingredients  
  • Dosa rice 1 Cup
  • Urad dal 1/4 cup 
  • Methi 1 tsp
  • Poha 1 tbsp
  • 1/4 cup refined oil
  • 3 chopped tomato
  • 3 washed & dried red chilli
  • salt as required
  • 2 cup water
Method
  • To prepare this delicious dosa, take a bowl with water and soak the rice, methi, and dal in it for 3- 4 hours.
  • In a mixer, grind together the dal, rice,. Then, add the chopped tomatoes, red chilies to it and grind again to form a smooth batter.
  • Transfer the batter to a large bowl and add salt to it as per your taste. Keep it aside for 30- 45 minutes.
  • Now, heat a tawa over medium flame. Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it outwards using the ladle only.
  • Apply oil/ghee around the edges and flip it to cook from both sides.
  • Once done, transfer to a serving plate and serve with coconut chutney.
