Mavinkayi Tokku (Raw Mango Tokku)


Ingredients 

Raw Mango 3 (Big Size)
Salt 1 cup
Red Chili Powder 1 cup
Methi seeds 2 tsp
Hing
Oil 4 tbsp 
Mustard 
Turmeric 

Method

  • Chop raw mangoes, and put them in the mixer and make a coarse paste
  • Take a small pan, add methi seeds and fry them till the aroma comes 
  • Now make it fine powder using a mixer or mortar pestle 
  • Now transfer to the vessel, add salt red chili powder, methi powder and mix well 
  • Now take a thick bottom pan to add, oil once it is hot, add mustard and Hing  
  • Now add mango mixture and mix well until oil come out of it 
  • Let it cool down completely, store in a glass jar
  • Best go with curd rice
