It is the season of mangoes and you definitely how cam we stop trying out different mango recipes, I have been trying with mangoes- both raw and ripe and I am just not getting enough of them. If you love mangoes, you will definitely love this mavinakayi gojju. This recipe of mavinakayi gojju is tangy, spicy, slightly sweet and an utterly delicious recipe that I came up with. Mavinakayi gojju can be served with rotti , chapati, dosa, idli or hot rice.

- Raw Mango 1 (Chopped)
- Grated Coconut 1/2 cup
- Mustard 1tsp
- Methi 10 seeds
- Jeera 1tsp
- green chili 4
- Jaggery as per taste
- Salt
- Curry leaves
- Coriander
- Fried Gram 1 tsp
Method
- Cook chopped mangoes for 10 min until it gets soft
- meanwhile, in a mixer jar add coconut, mustard, jeera, green chili, fried gram, coriander and grind it to smooth paste
- add this paste to cooked raw mango, bring it to boil
- once it starts boiling add jaggery, salt and cook it for 5 more min
- Now, take a small pan to add oil, once hot add mustard, methi, asafoetida, and curry leaves
- add this temper to gojju
- and serve with hot rice
