Karibevu Pudi (Curry leaves podi)

Karibevu pudi Or Curry leaves powder is made from fresh curry leaves and spices. It can be had with rice or with idli, dosa. 

Curry leaves are rich in iron, calcium and vitamin A, new breastfeeding mom can include this powder in their daily diet. 

Ingredients
1. Curry leaves 2 cups (tightly packed) 
2. Whole Black Pepper 10-15
3. Red Chili 1
4. Salt
5. Jeera 2 tsp
6. Ajwain 1tsp
7. Ghee 1/2 tsp
8. Asfoteda 

Method

1. Wash curry leaves and put on towel to dry for 2 hours or until moist goes completely or you can sun dry for 1 hour
2.Now take a pan, heat it, add curry leaves fry them until crisp keep aside
3. Now, to the same pan add ghee, fry jeera, pepper and ajwain for 2 min
4. Put everything in mixer add salt and make fine powder
5. Store this in air tight container 
6. Serve with hot rice and ghee
