Corn Cheese Fingers


Corn cheese fingers is a delicious, cheesy snack blended with aloo and corn

Ingredients

  • Steamed Sweet Corn 1/2 cup
  • Boiled Potatoes 2 
  • Salt 
  • Green Chilis 2 
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • garam masala 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala 1tsp
  • Bread Crumbs or Semolina 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour or Rice flour 2 tsp
  • Cheese blocks 

Method

  • In a bowl add mashed potatoes, corn, green chili, garam masala, salt, chat masala red and red chili powder and mix well 
  • Now add 2 tsp of cornflour and mix well, it works as a good binding agent 
  • Take a small portion of aloo mixture, give them shape make space to put cheese in the middle 
  • Now, take cheese cubes and put in the middle and cover the aloo mixture
  • Now, in a bowl add cornflour and water make a smooth paste out of it 
  • Dip the cheese finger in cornflour paste, and roll it in bread crumbs and semolina 
  • Give a nice coating and refrigerate for at least 20 min
  • Aft 20 min, heat oil in the pan once its hot, shallow fry cheese fingers both the sides in medium heat 
  • Serve cheese fingers hot with tomato ketchup or cheese dip 
Note: 

You can use cheese in any form like sliced, grated or block 
you can skip the cheese and add paneer in the middle
