Bendekai dosa (Ladies Finger Dosa)


Ingredients 

  • Dosa Rice or Normal rice 2 cups
  • Urad dal 2 tsp cup 
  • Fenugreek/Methi 1 tsp
  • Ladys Finger tips 1 -1.5 cup (I used this) or 10 ladys finger
  • to taste Salt
  • Oil to make dosa
Method

  • Wash and soak urad, rice, and methi for 4-6 hours
  • In a mixer grind ladies finger with little water and make a smooth paste 
  • Now, add soaked dal and rice to ladies finger paste and grind to smooth dosa batter
  • Let it ferment for 6 hours or overnight 
  • Next day morning add salt and pinch of sugar to the batter and mix well 
  • Heat tawa and make dose
  • Serve dose with chutney
