For Grinding
Tomato 3-4
Clove 2
Cardamom 2
Cinnamon 1 inch
Coriander
Garlic 1 -2
Jeera
Cashews or fried gram
Other Ingredients
Rice 1 cup (I used jeera rice)
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Biriyani powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Jeera 1tsp
Bay leaf 2
Onion sliced 2-3
Paneer cubes 1 cup
Oil and ghee
Black pepper powder
Method
1. First wash rice and keep aside
2. In a jar add the ingredients for grinding make paste
3. Add 4 tsp of oil to cooker ( you can use ghee too), once hot add jeera and bay leaf
4. Now add grounded masala fry well until raw smell goes
5. Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, biryani masala fry sugar and salt
6. Now add rice and fry for a min
7. Add 2 cups of water let it boil, once it's starts boiling close the lid
8. Wait till one or two wishtel
9. Meanwhile marinate panner cubes with pinch of salt and black pepper powder
10. Now in a pan add ghee fry paneer and onions till golden brown
11. Mix this with cooked rice, check for salt
12. Serve tomato paneer biryani with raita.
Note
You can skip biryani masala if you don't have handy 😊
