Mysore Mylari Dose
Dose Rice 3 Cups
Urad Dal 1 cup
2 tsp Methya/fenugreek Seeds
1/4 cup Channa Dal
1 cup Boiled white rice
Wash Everything twice and Soak them for 8 Hours
After 8 Hours Grind them to Batter
We usually get it in wet Grinder, with only Required amount of water , no too much water π
**With mixer jar the Results are not that Satisfying π
Fermented it for over night.
In the Morning add Salt,
This is the main Change - For Every 100gms of batter add 1/4 tsp sugar and 2 tsp maida, beat the batter for 1-2 mins until fluffy, add water and Little salt, a bit Soda and The Batter Should Be medium thin consistency.. if medium thickness is 50% and thiness is 0% batter should be 35% thick.
Maida will make the dose fluffy and Sugar gives brown Color π
Onion alya/Sabji
To a pan add 2 Tbsp oil, 1tsp mustard Seeds, and 2 Large Chopped Onions, add. salt and Fry until onion are Brown and Translucent
Next in a Mixer Jar , 2 Green Chillies, 1/2 tsp Gasgase/poppy Seeds, 2 medium garlic Cloves, 1/2 inch ginger, 2 cloves, 1 Cardamom, 1/2 inch Cinnamon/chakke,
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder, 1/4 tsp Cumin/jeerige, 4 tsp Fresh Grated Coconut, Handful Coriander leaves, less Than 3/4th mint Leaves and 1 cup water blend it to very Finee puree no lumps
After onion Turns Translucent , add the Ground Masala , Adjust Salt and let it Reduces until it has Become thickπ add 1/2 tsp lime Juice π Thats It! Delicious Onion palya is Ready ❤️
