Ingredients
- Moong Dal 1/2 Cup
- Rice 1 cup (I use red rice)
- Ghee 3 tbsp
- Pepper
- Jeera
- Salt
- Curry leaves
- Fresh Coriander
- Green Chili
- Milk 1 cup
- Ginger
Method
- Wash rice and dal pressure cook together for 3-4 whistles
- In a pan add ghee, once hot add jeera, whole pepper, green chiles, curry leaves, ginger and fry
- Add this tempering to boiled rice mix well
- Now, add milk, salt and a cup of water mix well until soft
- Leave it in sim for 5 min
- At last, add fresh coriander and some ghee
- Serve hot with chutney or gojju
