Bendekai Majjige Huli (Ladies finger)

Majjige huli is a South Indian food prepared  includes vegetables in a buttermilk gravy. Majjige huli is a traditional Brahmin food. 

Ingredients

Ladies finger Chopped 1 bowl
Green chillew 4-5
Curd 1 bowl
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander
Coriander seeds 1tbsp
Jeera 1tsp
Ginger 1/2 inch
Oil 2tsp
Mustard 1 tsp
Curry leaves 
Channa dal 1tsp
1/2 cup fresh coconut


Method
1. In bowl soak channa dal for 2 hours
2. In a pan add oil once hot add add chopped ladies finger until crisp
3. Take a mixer jar add soaked  dal, Green chili, coriander seeds, coriander, ginger jeera and grated coconut add lil water and make smooth paste
4. Take vessels transfer this masala to it, add salt let to boil for few mins. Add water if needed
5. Now add fried ladies finger and let it boil for one more min
6. Now add 1 cup curd stir well and boil for a min and switch off the flame
7.Take small ladle add cooking oil, once hot add mustard curry leaves and asfetoda 
8. Add this to Majjige huli
9. Serve Majjige Huli with hot rice 😊
Note
You can add any vegetable of your choice
Usually Majjige Huli is made with ash gourd ( Booda Kombalakaki) 
You can replace vegetable with soppu also
