Butter milk dose or ಕಡಿದ ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ದೋಸೆ
Is usually made out of butter mill which we get while making butter.
Dose will be filled with aroma of butter here
Ingredients
Dosa Rice 3 Cups
Urad Dal 1 cup
Avalakki 1 tbsp
Methi seeds 1 tsp
Butter milk
Method
- Rinse all the ingredients together in water (except avalakki)
- Soak them in butter Milk for 6 to 8 hours
- Add avalakki before grinding
- Grind them to smooth batter
- Do not discard the butter Milk
- Use while grinding
- Let it ferment for over night
- Now in the morning, add salt and sugar to batter
- Make dosa on hot tawa
- Serve dose hot with chutney or palya of your choice
